Full-Service Virtual VITA/TCE Process
1. Virtual Consultation: Clients can schedule a virtual consultation through Zoom, where client will have the opportunity to discuss all their tax-related concerns and needs.
2. Secure Communication: Throughout the process, clients will be in touch with our certified volunteers using a variety of virtual methods, including video calls, phone calls, and secure messaging, ensuring both convenience and confidentiality.
3. Electronic Document Submission: Clients can safely and efficiently provide their tax documents using our dedicated organization app integrated with TaxSlayer. This ensures the accurate transfer of data directly to the tax preparation software.
4. Consent and Authorization: All required consent forms, disclosures, and other necessary documentation will be facilitated through DocuSign. This method ensures that all forms are signed and stored securely, abiding by IRS guidelines and providing ease for the client.
5. Tax Preparation: Once all the relevant information is received, our certified volunteers will diligently prepare the client's tax return remotely. After the return is completed, a review will be conducted, and the client will be contacted for any final clarifications and for the approval process.
6. Finalization: Upon the client's approval, the tax return will be e-filed, and the client will be provided with all necessary copies and documentation for their records.
